I’m still a little miffed that my local council took it on themselves to “correct” my name on the electoral roll to something it isn’t, thereby potentially disenfranchising me (I can’t produce photo ID in the fake name they came up with!).
But I’m pleased to report that, after prompting, they were able to correct their mistake before I got to the polling station this morning. 🗳️👍
As someone who works daily with the language CUE; who enjoys joining a good British queue several time each day; who occasionally watches talks from the QCon conference; who has a small library of CDs stored alongside their cue sheets; but is despairing of the QAnon lunacy … all I can say of our local council is: que?
